| I'm actually tan. Like legit tan, not just the tan for a few days, then back to normal whiteness thing. I really wish that the 4th of July wasn't on a Wednesday, that way I could have potentially had a 3 day weekend. I'm just glad that week is over, it was pretty stressful. But the weekend totally made up for it. This week has been so much better. I'm going to my first ever Phillies game at the new stadium. It should be a good time. It could even be historical if they lose their 10,000th game when I go. I don't want them to lose, but if they do have to lose one, that wouldn't be a bad one to lose. I just hope they can get healthy enough to get into the playoffs. | | |
| Best Week Ever. I really should have been on that show with the week I had last week. I wasn't though. I'm finally tan and not burnt or peeling anymore. I just got possibly the coolest new cell phone. It has the clearest screen, takes pictures and videos, and plays music. I don't know what else I could possibly want in a phone. I got season 1 of Prison Break for $20 and bought Rocky Balboa as a gift to myself. I even got pictures developed, which turned out pretty good. And there are some good pics of Jill and I. And to finish it all off, season 4 of Entourage began and I had a great Sunday night with a great girl. And this week starts off great as the Flyers make a great trade getting an All-Star defenseman and a good young forward for a draft pick. I can already see the Flyers being better. Makes me want to get some tickets | | |
| It was nice to get away and do something different for a weekend. Plus it was a long weekend, and since Monday is a long day for me, it was even better. It's nice to go to the beach, since I don't do it that much. I figured I'd get a tan, but right now all I have to show for it is some pretty sore sunburn. Eventually it will make my skin a little darker. Plus, it was nice to go to some different bars and just see different things, especially the dolphins in the ocean, since I've never seen dolphins before. The best part was being able to spend the weekend with a great girl. The Phillies go over 500 just to go back to it. It's frustrating. Especially when you have the George Bush of baseball managers in charge of the team. But then again, he is a nice guy and the Phillies are probably a team that will be happy with a winning record. It would just be nice to not see them spend cheaply on junk players (werth)and instead keep some decent people (conine, delucci). And now apparently the GM gets in trouble for calling out players who aren't producing. Should I not boo a player now, because it would offend the ownership? Of course not, the players are making more than I will ever see in my life and I have every right to boo the crap they put out there. And fire charlie manuel. And why does charlie manuel sound like the name for a how to book? Like "let's go get that charlie manuel and it will tell us how to be average," sweet! I just hope the Phillies can win in spite of all of this. | | |
| I finally feel back to normal. I really hate being sick, because when I'm sick, I'm sick sick and don't really have the energy to do anything. At least someone came over to watch a movie and hang out, haha. I even got a massage too, not bad at all. I just can't wait until I'm not sore after lifting since I took a week off because of being sick. After that, it will be easy again. For the first time in like over a week, I was happy about everything, which doesn't occur too often. Maybe I'm too critical of things. Or maybe the Phillies should fire Charlie Manuel, because he sucks. Then I wouldn't really have anything to complain about. This guy makes everyone around him look like a genius. And he has cost the Phillies too many games this year already. So what, the Eagles drafted a quarterback. He won't really START for at least 3 years and if he does play it will be because #5 is injured. And as much as I like Donovan McNabb, I really don't care what he thinks about this. You are being paid $9 million a year, so win and don't whine, then nobody would have a problem. At least the Eagles got Tony Hunt. Finally, a big back, so maybe someone won't have to throw on 3rd and 1 anymore. It's just a suggestion. Since a bunch of people I know are graduating, it made me miss school. I miss the feeling of being done. I miss being able to go out like every night and not having to worry about a thing. And I miss being able to go out onto my balcony, with that great view and just enjoy things. Oh well, I guess this is what happens in the real world. | | |
